Welcome to the EUXSydney 2020 May Meetup!
With our May meetup almost here, we wanted to announce our format. We are very excited to have Sarah Forde, Design Strategist from Salesforce.
We are also very excited to share with you an upcoming, one day conference on the 19th of June. We have an amazing speaker lineup that we will go through with you. We want to take this time after Sarah's talk to discuss the format with you, hear feedback and find ways that our community can get the most of our first full day of talks.

Sarah is a Design Strategist at Salesforce, with a background of over 10 years in delivering transformation projects that seek to improve the experience for end users in both the UK and Australia. Sarah has a deep-rooted passion to make a difference, led by her values and intuition, constantly focusing on what is best for the user, and representing the user’s needs. Driven by her inquiring mind, coupled with enthusiasm and empathy, Sarah wants to make a positive difference, which is exactly what she is doing now with some of the largest enterprises across ANZ through her work at Salesforce. Sarah is also passionate about being part of the Design community in Sydney and is excited to be part of another meet up.
Sarah is a recent starter at Salesforce. At salesforce they take onboarding very seriously and are very proud of the bespoke training and development opportunities available to new starters, particularly the in-person Boot Camp held at HQ in San Francisco. Sarah was due to attend this event in March, but plans were changed due to COVID-19. In this presentation, Sarah will share the experience of her 'virtual' Bootcamp, which was totally reimagined and transformed using the Miro tool, fundamentally changing the whole onboarding experience. With the likelihood of many companies moving toward having more remote workers, this may become the new normal for future onboarding of new starters. Sarah's presentation will showcase one way it can be done in the new remote world.
