More and more, we are being called upon to interpret complex data to identify, inform and facilitate research. This workshop seeks to provide you with an understanding of how quantitative data analysis, such as google analytics, can help you identify personas, flows and key tasks to effectively facilitate qualitative research. Further, this workshop will provide you with the knowledge, process, research plans and templates that will help you go from quantitative analysis, qualitative facilitation to quantitative insights and deliver richer, deeper research insights and improved experiences for users.
This workshop is designed to help you improve how you identify and translate research into evidenced-based design by focusing on:
-
Critical analysis (Analytics, Industry + Competitive Review)
-
Identification and persona recruitment
-
Development of unbiased research plans
-
Interview facilitation and synthesis
-
Common tagging taxonomy
-
Patterns + insights
-
Presenting to stakeholders
The workshop includes many real-life case studies, recommended tools, and templates for you to use in your own research. Having a solid foundation for your research improves the outcomes for your users.
