Excited to announce our final speaker for EUXCBR in 2024. We are lucky to have Professor Martin Tomitsch, Head of Transdisciplinary School University of Technology Sydney (UTS). Martin will be talking about "Designing Tomorrow – Strategic Design Tactics to Change Your Practice, Organisation & Planetary Impact."

As designers, we constantly make decisions about what and how we design and who we involve. Those decisions cause ripples that can negatively affect ecosystems and future generations. Drawing on global trends and academic research, the book offers strategic design tactics to drive positive change and influence company strategies.

This talk, which is based on the book "Designing Tomorrow" (https://www.designingtomorrowbook.com), discusses practical tools and strategies to create positive change. It highlights the role of life-centred design, systems thinking, and identifying desired futures to bring planetary perspectives and long-term thinking into organisations.

As always, we will be in the Lab at the Canberra Innovation Network at Level 5, 1 Moore St. Networking, drinks and pizzas will start from 5:30 and talk will start at 6pm. Look forward to seeing you there!!
